FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR
Cape Town
Half Day, Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 13:00
Salary: R8 500 per month, inclusive of pension, excluding medical benefits
Dual nature of duties:
As a Cashier:
- Banking
- Payment of monthly accounts, service providers and other expenses
- Purchase of stationery & office supplies
- Control of petty cash
As a bookkeeper:
- Control over Receipts Book and Deposit Book
- Compilation of monthly Income & Expenditure Statements
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Compilation of Quarterly Financial Statements
- Handling of all SARS- and UIF-related matters
- Submission of Financial Statements to the auditors
Oher Duties:
- Compilation of an annual Budget& financial planning
- Handling of long-term and short-term insurance matters
- Handling of all pension-related matters
- General filing related to responsibilities
- Report back to the Congregation on her finances
- Available on Sundays & occasional congregational events
Minimum Requirements:
- Preferably a qualified bookkeeper, experienced in all tax-related matters
- Alternatively, a person who have experience in doing bookkeeping on Pastel Accounting
- Looking for a mature, numerate, self-confident individual with keen attention to detail
- Candidate must be adept at using Pastel Accounting and MS Office (EXCEL, WORD an OUTLOOK)
- Also have Internet Banking experience
- Candidate must be bilingual in Afrikaans & English
- Must have a valid driver’s licence & own car
- At least 3 contactable references must be supplied
- A testimonial, not older than 3 months, from your reverend/pastor/religious institution is compulsory
